The Davao Blog Party #1

Last night the organizers for The Davao Blog Party #1 - Kim, Marc, Blogie, Andrew, Ria and me meet at Blugre MTS to discuss the upcoming event. Dominique one of the organizers did not make it to our Blugre MTS meetup as he is currently at Cebu. Hope he will be back and present at the Blog Party!

Heres the final schedule and venue for the The Davao Blog Party #1:

Date: 17 March 2007 (Saturday), from 7:30 PM
Venue: Netfront Coffee Shop & Internet Café (CM Recto St, in front of Aldevinco)

Programme:

7:00-7:30 PM - Registration
– Light Dinner (or some might say, Heavy Merienda) –
Opening Remarks by Blogie, and presentation of DavaoBlogs.com
Presentation: Web Marketing, by Aileen Apolo of Google Philippines
Presentation: Blogging Best Practices, by Abe of Yugatech.com
Presentation: DigitalFilipino Club, by Janette Toral of DigitalFilipino.com
Presentation: Mindanao Bloggers Summit, by Councilor Pete Laviña
Dennis Agulo to launch his Election 2007 Winners Prediction contest

Davao Bloggers Party Organizers @ Blugre MTS

Councilor Pete Laviña who also at the same place during the meeting, he drop by and give some updates mostly about what happen at Techno Kapehan which Blogie was also present there. We are tasked to lead the Mindanao Bloggers Summit? Sir Pete will present this at the Blog Party.

We are still open for more to sponsor the event - if you are one of those willing to put Davao City name in the Blogosphere you can go to our Sponsorship Pledge Form.

If you are a Davao Bloggers or blogs about Davao you can join us in the party! the registration page will be soon be available. Since the party has limited budget we also limit the participants like 30 bloggers and wants to know how to Blog. We will give invitation to those registered online.
